Hey everyone

So it has been a while since I last did a post, due to medical and family illnesses, but thankfully we are all on the mend and I am back out walking again 😀

Today’s shot is of a pub thats in ruins (just outside Burnley central train station), which is becoming more of a common site in Britain which is such a shame, waste of a building.

Nature is starting to take over this building.

Hope you enjoy !

  1. Glad you’re doing better.

How long has the pub been derelict for? Can you get permission to shoot inside?

    • Thank you, years, i don’t remember it been open, thats and interesting question and something I’m going to look into 🙂

  2. Sorry to hear about your health issues. I hope that you all have a speedy recovery.

It is very sad that we are losing so many of our traditional pubs and with it a sense of (drunken!) community. However, there is a sense of beauty in dereliction.

    • Thank you everyone is getting there now 🙂 yeah i have to agree with you on both points, derelict build offer a view into the past !

  3. I love Urban Decay photos.. Yes, you should try to get inside.. i bet there’s all types of odd things to photograph

  4. Yes, sad to see stately old buildings left to ruin. Like watching a person fading away, unnoticed. We have a lot of those here in Louisiana.

  5. How sad to see all these pubs fall into disrepair – maybe we had too many
